U.S. Economy Gains Steam as 200,000 Jobs Are Added

It's my understanding that population growth adds 120K workers to the labor force each month, so the good news is 80K fewer unemployed workers.

But with 24M workers unemployed, and an unemployment rate is about twice what is considered full employment, at this rate it will take 12M/80K or 150 months — over 12 years — to return to a healthy economy.
